Richard Peace is the Robert Boyd Munger Professor of Evangelism and Spiritual Formation at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Dr. Peace is a graduate of Yale University (B.E.) and Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.). He earned a Ph.D. in biblical studies at the University of Natal (South Africa

A prolific author, Dr. Peace has over a hundred titles to his credit including the widely used Learning to Love trilogy of Bible studies, recently updated and re-issued as small group curriculum. He has a four book series for small groups on the Spiritual Disciplines (The Spiritual Formation Study Guides). His most recent book is Conversion in the New Testament: Paul and the Twelve (Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing) which proposes a new way to understand the literary structure of the Gospel of Mark as well as a new paradigm for evangelism. Other books include Pilgrimage: A Handbook on Christian Growth (Baker House) and Small Group Evangelism (InterVarsity Press). He has co-authored various small group based adult Bible study materials including The Serendipity Bible for Groups, Mastering the Basics (an eight volume series), the Lifestyle series and the Serendipity Group Bible Study series.

Dr. Peace helped organize the six National Small Group Conferences. At each he was a plenary speaker as well as conducting workshops and courses. He serves as a consultant on small groups to many church and para-church organizations.
