After serving in a variety of parishes from very small to very large, Carol Anderson became Rector of All Saints' in 1989, and under her leadership the parish has grown substantially. There has been an expansion of small group ministry, pastoral care, homeless ministry, ministry to children, youth, families, young adults, women, gay people and seniors and in the fall of 2003, she oversaw the founding of All Saints’ Association. She has also established at All Saints' the internationally used Alpha Course (recently replaced at All Saints’ by Aleph) for the teaching of basic Christianity. Carol is the author of the Christianity primer, Knowing Jesus in your Life, a book that presents the way we can have a relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ.

When posed with the question, "Why are you at All Saints'?" Carol is not at a loss for words. Nor is there any hesitation in her answer. "I believe that God is very much at work here building an extraordinary group of disciples who will share Christ's love with the world."

When and where does this building take place? Everywhere you look at the parish: in the senior community and the activities of the SAGES, in the expansion of service ministries, in the explosion of activity in the 20s/30s group and in the children’s ministries, in the proliferation of small groups at All Saints', in the enrollment in the twice yearly Aleph courses, in the gay and lesbian outreach.
